Catherine “Cici” Ward writes dynamic melodies and is very strong with concept lyrics and storytelling. She works heavily in the indie pop and rock genres, as well as empowering pop and country. Cici co-wrote Landon Barker’s debut single “Over You.” She is Sony Canada artist Laye’s main collaborator. Their releases together include “Unhappier,” “touching myself,” “Jesus why do you hate me,” “blue,” and “sunday scaries.” Other recent releases written by Cici are “Learn To Love” by Big Time Rush, “Take Me Home” by VINCINT, “UMAMI” by Galxara, “Gatekeeper” and “Ugly” by Dylan Conrique, “Detached” by Lyn Lapid, “Keeper,” “If I Hadn’t Been Drunk” and “Don’t Tempt Me” by Sophia Scott, “ERA” by The FAIM, and “Yellow Line” by Kid Bloom.
