Niko Rubio’s approach to songwriting is unique, oftentimes freestyling in the booth once an idea comes to her. She draws in her audience with her soulful voice, clever wordplay, and impressive storytelling. Sharing her love for writing by lending it to others, her most recent releases include, “El Nene” by Anuel AA and Foreign Teck, “Purple Irises” by Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, “True Babe” and “Marigolds” by Gwen Stefani, and “More” by The Warning. As an artist, Niko recently released her EP titled Ring Ring which features her single “Quisiera Saber”.  This EP, similar to her third EP, Mar y Tierra is inspired by traditional Mexican instrumentation and her California upbringing, as well as influences such as Gwen Stefani, Julieta Venegas, and early Shakira. These last two projects were executive produced by Lester Mendez (Shakira, Santana, Nelly Furtado).
